The first layer provides comfort and relieves itching and redness. When vigilantly applied, the dressing immediately delivers comfort and effective compression. It consists of two latex-free roll bandages. The internal comfort layer is a lamination of polyurethane foam and an adhesive bandage. The outer compression layer is an adhesive bandage, intended to provide constant, compression at levels which are known to be effective for the treatment of leg swelling and venous ulcers.

Once the 2 layers of the dressing have been applied, the two layers merge and become on solid bandage that does not easily slip during daily walking
